My husband and I came in EXTREMELY last minute with a week before our wedding! Shelley was absolutely amazing to us. She was very kind and on top of things.shelley went above and beyond to make sure my wedding cake was perfect.
I planned a somewhat last minute wedding when my original date was postponed due to COVID. When I brought in a picture of a cake I loved from Pinterest, Timothy's Bakery was absolutely fantastic and was happy to help. They created the exact cake I wanted and I was thrilled with how beautiful and delicious it was. I would recommend them to everyone!
I've been going to Timothy's since I was a little girl. The champagne cake is my absolute favorite and one of the first things I want when I come back home to Woodland. There isn't a baked good you won't love here. Tim and Kathy are basically family and they make the best baked goods with lots of love.
We tried this bakery out after seeing great reviews and the employees were so nice and sweet! The donuts are incredible and my absolute favorite is the custard filled - they fill the donuts to the brim with custard!!! Don’t walk, run to this bakery!! So delicious!!

Woodland is my hometown and I have been gone for many many years due to my music travels. I've been a music evangelist, traveling, recording and performing.. I am happy to say that I am going to be returning back home to Woodland this spring.. I love Timothy's bakery. When I was a little child growing up, my mother always ordered birthday cakes from Timothy's bakery for myself and my brothers and other special occasions as well. The champagne wedding cake is my favorite by far. Their donuts and everything else is absolutely delicious. I've been gone for so long. I'm sure you must have a lot of new recipes that I am looking forward in trying out. Christmas is next week. A true Woodland staple. This place is full of nostalgia. Donuts and pastries are very fresh everyday. You got to love that Timothy, the original owner since 1978 is still opening up daily.
I went to Timothy's Bakery in Woodland, CA, the day before Valentine’s Day. Unbeknownst to me I found out they’ll be closing soon. I don't know when, maybe they already have since I’m writing this review two weeks later. Master baker and owner, Timothy Johnson, is retiring. Hurray for him. So sad for us. The bakery originally opened in 1978 right on Main Street in downtown Woodland. Over 47 years in business, that ‘s impressive considering the fickleness of the modern day customer. I use to live nearby and would make regular recurring visits to buy some baked goodies. It's a genuine bakery that makes cakes, cookies, pastries, doughnuts, cupcakes, and a bunch more items. All made with gluten. Classic Americana. They are known for their cakes. Picture perfect cakes that are perfect for any occasions... birthdays, anniversaries, weddings... are in my case the majority of time I just bought them "because", because I wanted a cake occasion. I was particular fond of their champagne cake. Mmm. For each holiday, they would go all out offering decorated baked goods. I luved everything they made. The pricing was always fair. Ohh I have tons of fond memories of Timothy’s. The bakery will be missed. Thank you, Mr Johnson.
We used Timothy’s for our wedding cake and the co-owner/baker truly brought out inspiration to life. It was so so beautiful, actually tasted good, and made for great photos. Not only that, but she delivered it, provided a cute cake stand that matched our decor, and helped to decorate the cake table. Top notch service and such kind people. Our cake tasting experience was great also. Thank you!!!
It's too bad that I'm trying this bakery for the first time when the owner is just weeks away from retiring! The young lady at the register was very friendly and helpful, and the prices were shockingly low. I got two slices of pink champagne cake for just $7! I also took a bite of a maple bar when I walked out of the place, and it was the best maple bar I've ever had. Give this bakery a try while this level of quality can be assured!
